Story
Villa Bautier - Borgo San Lorenzo was initially born as a hunting lodge in 1772, the main façade is architecturally considered to belong to the Vanvitelli school and refers to Villa Campolieto, in Herculaneum, one of the Vesuvian villas of the golden milio.
Cascina San Lorenzo bears the same wish in Latin also present on the main staircase of Villa Campolieto, the last residence of the Cirillo Farrusi family in Campania. Subsequently, the villa gave up its reputation as a hunting estate in favor of a place dedicated to relaxation and care for body and soul.
San Lorenzo was never a "Masseria for agricultural work" but rather a "Place of delights", where the owner family, for more than two centuries, spent their periods of relaxation away from the routine of everyday life.
